Dear User, our privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the “Policy”) is pursuant to Article 13 of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Regulation 2016/679, adopted by the European Parliament and Council on April 27, 2016.

RV HOLDING SRL, represented by its legal representative, as the Owner of the aforementioned website and the personal data collected directly from users, considers privacy and personal data protection to be of utmost importance. We invite the users to carefully read this Policy, which contains important information regarding Data Processing.

In any case, we ensure the logical and physical security of the collected data, along with the overall confidentiality of the personal data processed, by implementing all necessary and appropriate technical and administrative measures to guarantee their security.

This Policy provides a detailed description of how and for what purposes the personal data of the data subject (hereinafter referred to as the User) will be processed during navigation, purchases of products, and the use of various services available on the PICBOOK website, accessible at: https://www.picbook.uk. This Policy applies to all software/products/applications provided by PICBOOK and complies with the conditions expressed in the General Terms and Conditions.

CATEGORIES OF PROCESSED PERSONAL DATA AND LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

The personal data processed by the Controller includes:

  • Regarding Website browsing: information about the pages and sections of the Website visited, activities and services accessed on the Website, time spent on individual pages and sections, etc.
  • Regarding information and data related to the devices used to browse the Website and access its functions/services: IP address, browser used, type of device used, information obtained from cookies or similar tools released by the Website's pages, etc.
  • In the case of registration to the Website, gaining access to the user page (hereinafter referred to as the ‘User Account'): information required to create an account, such as first name, last name, email address, and any additional details requested during registration. Also, data related to activities and services purchased after logging in.
  • In the case of commercial transactions on the Website (E-commerce services), the personal data processed will only include data required for payment purposes (which may also be processed by third-party financial institutions linked to the user rather than by PICBOOK) and data necessary for the execution of the contract following the user's purchase (personal, contact, payment, and billing information, etc.).
  • If the user subscribes to the newsletter, the Controller, with the user's expressed consent, will process the email address provided by the user to receive communications regarding news, promotions, and offers on products/services advertised by PICBOOK.
  • If the user contacts the Controller through the Contact section of the Website or any other means of communication, the personal data processed will be the information necessary to handle the contact request made by the user (such as name, surname, email address, etc.).

The provision of personal data may be either optional or mandatory. In the latter case, providing personal data is necessary for PICBOOK to fulfill the user's needs within the functionalities of the Website. Failing to provide mandatory personal data (typically marked with an asterisk (*) on the form) or providing it partially or incorrectly may nullify the contract, for which PICBOOK cannot be held responsible. However, failing to provide optional personal data or providing it partially or incorrectly will not have any consequences for the user.

METHOD OF PROCESSING AND COMMUNICATION OF DATA TO THIRD PARTIES

The processing of personal data is carried out by the Controller:

  • through the use of secured automated systems;
  • through measures that are adequate to ensure the confidentiality of the collected data and prevent unauthorized access by third parties.

In accordance with the specific sections above regarding activities and purposes, the Controller may engage third-party specialists necessary for fiscal, tax, or legal reasons in general.

In particular, for the purposes outlined in the previous paragraph, the personal data provided by the user may be shared or made accessible to:

  • employees and/or collaborators of the Controller, in their capacity as Authorized Data Processors (or “data processing agents”);
  • third parties performing outsourcing activities on behalf of the Controller, in their capacity as Data Processors, including:
    • suppliers for the development and maintenance of the Website, Software, and other related PICBOOK tools, third-party cookie managers, and PICBOOK's contractual partners who process the data provided by users;
    • freelancers, firms, or companies who provide assistance and consultancy services also for corporate management;
    • banks, credit institutions, and insurance companies for carrying out economic (payment/collection) and insurance activities;
    • judicial or supervisory authorities, administrations, and public offices (both national and international);
DURATION AND DELETION OF PERSONAL DATA

Personal data will be processed and stored for the time necessary to fulfill the contract between PICBOOK and the user, and in any case, within the limits of the legal obligations. After that, the data will be deleted.

RIGHTS OF THE DATA SUBJECT

The GDPR grants the user of the following rights:

  • Access to personal data. The user has the right to obtain free information from the Controller regarding their data, to understand the methods and purposes of processing, and to obtain a copy in an accessible format;
  • Rectification of personal data. The user has the right to request the Controller to edit or complete their personal information if it is inaccurate, incorrect, or outdated;
  • Deletion of personal data. The user has the right to request the deletion of their personal information if it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed, if it has been processed unlawfully, if it must be deleted to comply with a legal obligation, if the user has withdrawn their consent and there is no other legal basis for processing, or if the user objects to the processing of their personal data;
  • Restriction of processing. In certain cases, the Controller is restricted from processing the user's personal data following their complaint or objection;
  • Objection to processing (entirely or in part). The user has the right to object to the processing of their personal data at any time for reasons related to their specific situation;
  • Data portability. The user has the right to obtain their personal data from the Controller in a structured format or to transfer their data to a new Controller;
  • Withdrawal of consent. The processing of personal data is based on the user's consent, and the user has the right to withdraw it at any time without affecting the legitimacy of the processing carried out before the withdrawal;
  • Filing a complaint with the supervisory authority. The user can always file a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority at the following web address: http://www.garanteprivacy.it. In any case, for matters related to personal data processed and collected, the user may always contact the Controller using the contact details in Article 1 of this Policy.
